How Did We Fare?

For the first quarter of 2021, the fund posted a return of 4.08%. From a private equity standpoint, The Holt Accelerator, leAD Sports Accelerator and Fuel VC were the main contributors to the positive return over the quarter.

Fuel Ventures

Fuel Ventures is an early and growth-stage investor in leading technology businesses. Fuel Ventures have invested across 23 exponential growth companies to date.

Companies such as ‘Tradeshift’ highlight Fuel VC’s ability to discover and invest in high
growth opportunities. Tradeshift is now a billion-dollar company executing end-to-end
business commerce that brings all companies, big and small, together to transact, connect
and collaborate with each other.

LeAD Sports Accelerator

LeAD continues to see annual portfolio growth. As the fastest growing sports and health technology portfolio, LeAD invests in early-stage technology companies looking to change the world of sport. With over 38 companies already in the portfolio, LeAD are currently running their latest cohort to further expand their AUM and academic program.

Holt Accelerator

The valuation of the Holt Accelerator was marked up over Q1 2021. The Accelerator is currently raising its 4th cohort, investing across every continent into the most promising fintech sectors, including digital ID, Lending, insurtech, digital assets, cyber and more. With a total of 27 companies already in their portfolio, the team is now looking to include 8-12 additional Fintech start-ups, perfectly positioned to take advantage of recent market disruption.
